Our Mission Statement: The Mission of the WTFD is to safely respond, through the combined efforts of the Fairmount Fire Company, the Schooley's Mountain Fire Protection Association and the Long Valley Fire Company, to all dispatched emergencies within Washington Township: to help its citizens to deal with those emergencies utilizing the resources provided by the residents; and with the utmost regard for the safety of its competently trained VOLUNTEER members, do all it can to limit loss of life, the environment and property. |

The Fire
Department consists of 3 Fire Companies which protect the Township and
cover a 45 square mile area in Morris County, New Jersey. They also provide mutual aid to
surrounding towns and to areas of western Warren County and northern Hunterdon
